Workplace Safety and Health Information |

With effect from 1 September 2011, all workplaces are covered under the Workplace Safety and Health Act. Examples of workplaces include offices, salons, barber shops, schools, banks, coffee shops, markets, supermarkets, stores, restaurants, book shops, clubs and associations, museums, art centres, tuition centres, and clinics.
A number of the subsidiary legislations under this Act are also applicable to all workplaces, such as:
- Workplace Safety and Health (Risk Management) Regulations
- Workplace Safety and Health (Incident Reporting) Regulations
- Workplace Safety and Health (First-Aid) Regulations
- Workplace Safety and Health (General Provisions) Regulations
- Workplace Safety and Health (Noise) Regulations
Various duty holders such as the occupiers and employers of the workplaces are required to comply with the requirements stated in the above legislations.
