Objective:
To equip participants with the principles, understanding and application of the audit evaluation tool – Construction Safety Audit Scoring System (ConSASS) – to carry out independent audits on occupational safety and health management system implemented at construction projects. ConSASS is an auditing tool supported by the Ministry of Manpower for the construction industry to use.

Instructor and Facilitator Profile:
HARRY HO
Harry has more than 36 years of experience in occupational safety and health (OSH) in the areas of auditing, training and consultancy. Formerly in Hong Kong, he was working in the OSH Branch in Hong Kong Government Labor Department for about 10 years. In the period of July 1997 – July 2011, Harry was practicing as MOM Approved Auditor (Open Category) in Singapore, and had conducted hundreds of OSH management system audits for various organizations and projects in different nature, e.g. semi-conductor factories, metal-working factories, shipyards, construction projects (e.g. Refinery Projects, MRT Projects, DTSS Projects, Residential Projects, Commercial Projects, Institutional Projects).
Harry is a registered IRCA Principal OH&S Auditor, and had conducted a number of certification audits on OSH management system in accordance to SS 506 Part 1, BS OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001:2018. In terms of ConSASS audits, Harry had conducted a number of OSH management audits making use of this ConSASS auditing tool, in addition to his involvement in the development and trial runs of this auditing tool. Harry had also conducted numerous Risk Management audits, bizSAFE Level 3 audits, Overtime Exemption Audits as well as Annual Workplace Safety and Health Performance Award Audits (Performance and SHARP Award).
In 1999 - 2005, Harry was appointed by the Minister of Manpower as a Member of the Advisory Committee for OSH for the Construction Industry. With the set-up of the WSH Council, he was appointed as a member of the Construction and Landscape Committee in 2008. Moreover, Harry was appointed as a member of the Technical Committee on Safety Management in SPRING Singapore in 2004 - 2008. Harry was also appointed by the Ministry of National Development – Ministry of Manpower Joint Review Committee as a Resource Person for the Construction Safety Review in 2004 – 2005. In terms of professional involvement, Harry was the Hon. Secretary for the Association of Safety Auditing Firms in 2008 – 2010. Harry was also the Founding Chairman of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Singapore Branch) in 2011 - 2013.
